Anyone else want to just go HOME and take a dang nap?? No? Just me? Ok, that’s fine. I don’t get a nap even if I did get to go home right now, I have to go pick up my cutie patootie niece and nephews for the evening. Which, now that the youngest is old enough to hold his own with the others, is MASS CHAOS OMG! I’m hoping they will be good enough for me that I can work on my next baby blanket. I started it last night and I think I am already like 24 rows in? Maybe not quite that many, I’m not sure. But I just LOVE the colors in it! Here is a sneak peek- I took this last night, but I’ve worked on it for another hour or so. I am hoping to have it done tonight or tomorrow night, and then I will post it for sale. But I am also considering adding a fabric backing? This is super soft yarn, but I dunno, I just like the look of it. I am really leaning towards a minky fabric– what do you think?
Anyway, on to the point of the post. This should pretty much be a Pinworthy Patterns post, because that’s all I have. I am now officially OBSESSED with granny squares. I have so many projects in my head that I cannot decide which one I want to make next, and my fingers cannot crochet fast enough!!!!!!!!
How stinkin’ cute is this Granny Square zipper pouch?! I would keep this in my purse withsome pens or my tampuns in it (We are The Millers reference, anyone? Anyone?!).
Daisy Baby Afghan– I love the bright colors in this one, and can totally see it in pink/orange/yellow. I plan to make something like this soon! Totes worth $4 for the pattern.
I absolutely LOVE the color combo combined with the fabric. This is one that I am going to take the picture to the store with me to get the same colors. Cute cute cute! I wish I knew someone having a little girl so I could make this for them….
This Never Ending Granny Square interests me. Not tying in a bajillion ends sounds like a fabulous idea!
Daisy in the Center Granny Square Pattern– I like the daisy in the middle- this could easily be made into a washcloth pattern, too.
Daisy Granny Square Pillow– Not only would I like to make this, but I would keep it on my chair (if I can keep it away from my pillow sucking dog. Yes, I said pillow sucking. He’s a freak.) and take naps on it. This would be a good starter project, before taking on a huge afghan.
Mini Granny Square Crochet Baskets– We actually sell something similar to these with Thirty One, called a Littles Carry All. I buy them all of the time when I need to use a half price or free item, so I know I would like these. I want to make some of these for my craft room, and possibly as a display idea for my booth.
Ok, I seriously have quite a few more that I could share, but that’s long enough. GRANNY SQUARE FOR THE WIN!
